Aalberts surface technologies Pulversheim is your specialist for functional surfaces based on fluoropolymers, metals, plastics and nanostructures in France.

Aalberts surface technologies Pulversheim

The site in France was established in 1999 and is located not far from the city of Mulhouse in Alsace. It has been part of the Aalberts family since 2019. Here, our hard-working employees work with state-of-the-art technology to refine our customers’ components via the coating process. The focus is on non-stick and sliding coatings as well as metal coatings and thermal spraying. With our help, the production process is optimized, costs are saved and maintenance intervals are extended.

At Aalberts surface technologies Pulversheim, quality and order-specific delivery have top priority. This is why we ensure a smooth process from the logistics to the treatment of the components to the subsequent storage and delivery. We have the necessary capacities on our factory premises (near the D430 Highway) even for larger orders. Our satisfied customers are accompanied through the entire process by our trained service team.

surface preparation

The first step in our treatment begins with the cleaning of the part.

The surface is first heated in our oven to burn the grease and then it is sandblasted.

polymer spraying

After preparation we spray liquid or powdered polymers onto the component. Our specific coatings provide longlasting protection against wear and tear, corrosion and erosion. We have a manual pistol for unique parts, as well as a centrifuge for serial parts.

HVOF spraying

We project tungsten and chromium carbides, which are high in density and extreme in compactness. Through this process the surface is protected against wear and tear.

plasma spraying

The projection of ultra-pure ceramic powders makes it possible to increase the workpieces` resistance to high temperatures and corrosion.

flame spraying

This economical process consists of the projection of powders (nickel, stellite, Molybdenum) onto the component, thus creating a coating, that protects against corrosion.

arc spraying

We project the wires to recharge the large parts. This guarantees greater wear resistance than the original surface.

quality laboratory

We analyze the coatings made on the parts in our internal quality lab.

Our quality team can perform various tests at the request of our partners: optical microscop analysis, metallographic analysis, micro-hardness/macro-hardness, roughness, adhesion, grubbing, and stereo microscopic analysis.

We guarantee complete and clear traceability of the treatments we apply.

We have mastered a wide range of processes targeted towards individual components of machines or serial parts. Our coatings improve the performance of all kinds of metallic parts, up to 5 meters long.

Our coatings combine different layers based on fluorinated polymers, metals, plastics, ceramics, and powder paint. Every single one developed in our laboratories. We optimize applications for each individual need.
